The next membership meeting of the South Bend-Elkhart Bird Alliance (SBEBA) takes place on Sunday, October 11, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in the Farmer Room at the Howard Park Event Center, 219 S. St. Louis Blvd. in South Bend. The park is at the corner of E. Jefferson Blvd. and S. St. Louis Blvd., next to the St. Joseph River, near downtown.
Please be aware that the event center does NOT open until 12:00 p.m. on Sundays. Entry is through the front doors facing S. St. Louis Blvd. or the east doors that face the skating ribbon. One CANNOT enter the event center through the doors facing E. Jefferson Blvd. or via the Howard Park Public House restaurant.

Due to planned redevelopment work at Rum Village Park, SBEBA had to move our September and October membership meetings in advance to a different venue. We will return to Rum Village Park in January 2027. Our October speaker is Katie Lane, Director of Operations at Unity Gardens. Their motto is “Growing Food, Growing Knowledge, Growing Community!” We will have refreshments and snacks. All our events are free, open to members and non-members of all ages. Come and enjoy!
