Join me May 2, 2026, at Shirley Heinze Land Trust’s Lydick Bog, located at 25898 US-20, South Bend, Indiana. We will walk the trails and try to find some neotropical migrants.

This will be a somewhat lengthy walk and Lydick Bog is hilly. We could be out most of the morning depending on how many birds we find. You are free to leave anytime. Don’t feel like you need to stay for the entire field trip.

Wear sturdy, comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather. Insect repellent is recommended. Bring water, sunscreen, and snacks (if you wish). I have extra binoculars or bring your own.
