South Bend-Elkhart Bird Alliance will open the doors of the Big Red Barn at St. Patrick’s County Park on Saturday, April 25, 2026 for its 32nd Annual Rummage Sale. Last year, with generous donations and lots of volunteer help, we raised funding beyond our expectations. That raised the bar and now we take on the new challenge—$1 more than 2025!

Drop-off days for donations will be Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday preceding the event from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the barn’s south door. More detailed information will follow in the March Leaves. As you are spring-cleaning, downsizing, decluttering, or whatever you may call it, consider boxing those items and setting them aside until April. Or you may consider volunteering just two or three hours of your time on one of the days, April 22­–24, to help take in and set up the merchandise. Another way to help is to donate to our Famous Bake Sale—cookies, quick breads, yeast breads and pastries, cupcakes, and muffins.
