Our April 2024 membership meeting will be held on Sunday, April 14 th at 2:00 p.m. at the Rum Village Park Nature Center in South Bend. Our speaker will be Janet McGowan. She is a well-known local naturalist and former Audubon Leaves editor. Her program is titled, “How Native Plants Bring Your Garden (and the Birds) to LIFE!” This is the same program she was scheduled o present at our January 2024 membership meeting, which unfortunately was canceled due to inclement weather. As always, the general public is welcome to attend our membership meetings. Bring a friend, enjoy some refreshments, view through the center’s floor-to-ceiling windows a variety of woodland birds feasting on the park’s many feeders, and learn from Ms. McGowan how to incorporate native plants in your landscape to attract more birds.
